Human Impact on Our Land

The urban landscape around my home is in a constant state of destruction and reconstruction. The economy is vibrant here and that has meant new houses, new businesses, new schools, and new roads. All that is mainly at the expense of the fields and trees, farms, and character and quality of life in the old mid-South. I have tried to capture some of these transitions in this gallery and document these changes.

Not all but many of the images in this gallery are panoramas and are from very large files. For example, some that are printed 15 inches in the vertical dimension are from 5 to 6 or more feet in the horizontal one.
